Anatomy of Female Reproductive Organs

  • Uterus -  a dynamic female reproductive organ that is responsible for several reproductive functions, including menses, implantation, gestation, labor, and delivery. It is responsive to the hormonal milieu within the body, which allows adaptation to the different stages of a woman's reproductive life. The uterus provides structural integrity and support to the bladder, bowel, pelvic bones and organs as well. It separates the bladder and the bowels. The networks of blood vessels and nerves of the uterus direct the blood flow to the pelvis and to the external genitalia, including the ovaries, vagina, labia, and clitoris for sexual response. The uterus is needed for uterine orgasm to occur.

  • Vagina -  an elastic, muscular canal with a soft, flexible lining that provides lubrication and sensation. The vagina connects the uterus to the outside world. The vulva and labia form the entrance, and the cervix of the uterus protrudes into the vagina, forming the interior end.

How does EVA work?

What makes the EVA truly special is the combined action of two exclusive technologies – VDR™ and RSS™ – developed and patented by the NovaVision Group working with the main Italian universities which offer an alternative, non-ablative treatmet for most vulvovaginal disorder and disease.

Vaginal Dynamic Radiofrequency (VDR)

VDR™ is based on Dynamic Quadripolar Radiofrequency developed at Novaclinical laboratories for vulvovaginal treatments.

What makes this technology really revolutionary is certainly its dynamic component: the emitters turn into receivers, change their charge within specific time spots, each time modifying the magnetic field, focusing it and obtaining:

RSS™ enables the operator to use VDR’s full potential in a safe, controlled way. The Radiofrequency Safety System combines the assisting action of a movement sensor together with that of temperature detectors, both featured together in the same hand-piece.

VULVAR TIP

  • A system monitoring the handpiece movement ensures complete safety in operations, preventing excessive stationary position/incorrect movements and thereby avoiding harmful prolonged administration of the electrical energy onto the tissue.

  • A tissue temperature detection system enables the operator to check that the effective increase in temperature is reached, while protecting the patient against overheating, as this is limited automatically by the system, which duly notifies the operator and shuts off the energy emission if necessary.

RSS  technology also directly protects the patient, who will have total control of the session: thanks to Bio-Feedback, she will be able to stop the treatment simply by pressing a button, thus playing an active role in the session.

UPR Ultrapulsed radioporation

UPR™  is the most innovative technology which, during the treatment, by using high energy micro-pulses, makes it possible to increase cell membrane permeability as well as opening aqueous channels, thus conveying the active substances.
