What is the difference between PDRN and PN?

PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotie) is a naturally-occurring building block in your DNA that helps to repair damaged skin cells and stimulate collagen production thus it rejuvenate skin when it is injected. On the other hand, Polynucleotide (PN) refer to a broader group of molecules, which include DNA and RNA. PN is extracted from Salmon DNA that is known to have most compatibility with human DNA without any immune response. PN treatment is a non-invasive anti-aging treatment that reverses signs of anging and repairs damaged skin. When PN injected, it produces significant tissue improvement and consistency throughout the treatment period.

Mechanisms of PDRN

  1. PDRN stimulate wound recovery through angiogenesis which will supply blood to the cells on the target areas to grow and repair. 

  2. PDRN has anti-inflammatory effects on tissues which can reduce scar formation.

  3. PDRN salvages DNA fragments from damaged cells to incorporate them into new DNA for normal cell proliferation and recovery so enhances tissue repair and wound healing.

Vitten PN/PN plus is extracted from Salmon's sperm cell. PN has more functions than PDRN. Not only it helps for recovery of damaged tissue and reducing scar formation, it also enhances collagen formation by activation of fibroblast so reduces fine lines and improves skin texture and elasticity.  The Vitten product is different from other PN product such as Rejuran healer. The Vitten has increased cell permeability by adding Hyaluronic acid (HA) for excellent spreadability (with low viscosity) and longer duration. Because this product is mixture of HA and RN, it gives better effect of tissue repair and cell regeneration by keeping the water-oil balance of the skin. Due to its lower viscosity, it also can be used for patient with thin skin while reducing embossing appearance (or nodule) when injected.
